So that’s “TO TAKE”: « PRENDRE », in the passé composé, the standard past tense.
“TO MAKE” is usually « FAIRE », but it’s a set phrase, it’s a different expression here.
So, you’re not going to say « j’ai fait des notes », you will say “I have taken notes”: « j’ai pris des notes ».
