Basic Conjugation in French Verbs is a skill you can pick up quite easily. But you need to focus hard on it for a few hours a week in the first few months.
There are three main groups of French verbs that mostly follow a set of rules you can master and remember.
One of the things I did when I started learning was to buy various books (like the actual ones in the photo above) on ebay and Amazon. I found it quite enjoyable to buy these old second hand books very cheaply. Some of them you might pick up for as low as 99 cents!

What is conjugation? Well, in English, it the the “I” in “I am”, and the “you” in “you are”…, but notice that we cannot say “you AM”… but “you ARE”…. these are the tiny tricks and rules you need to learn in French ALSO.
They are usually not difficult to learn, but French conjugation of verbs has as many tricks as English ones.
